Cash will help kids pack their bags
Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre Charity has raised �1
Seventy eager bag-packers helped raise more than £1,600 for a project which sends disadvantaged children on holiday.
The helpers manned aisles at Morrisons, Belper to generate funds for the Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre.
The scheme provides 450 underprivileged kids each year with a holiday at the seaside at Skegness.
Fundraising Officer, David Harris, said: “We are delighted with this result as it helps us so much with our funds at this difficult time for all charities both large and small. Staff and
the customers gave so very generously.”
