Fun day in Pinxton
Police are meeting residents and families at a community fun day in Pinxton next week.
The event, which takes place during half term week, offers people the chance to enjoy activities such as cooking, circus skills and youngsters can see Leonard the Lion. There will also be an OzBox demonstration and officers will be offering advice or road safety.
PCSO Marion Jeffery of the South Normantion and Pinxton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We will be at the family fun day as it is a great chance for us to meet local residents and also offer advice and information on staying safe.
“It is also a good opportunity to bring the community together and I look forward to seeing lots of new faces there.”
The event takes place on Tuesday, February 19 between 1.30pm and 3.30pm at Pinxton Village Hall on Kirkstead Road.
