Ripley Hospital League of Friends

Ripley Hospital League of Friends is receiving a cheque for £1,000-plus from a Scout Group in this Memory Lane picture.

The three young boys are holding similar leaflets, but it’s hard to tell what they are about.

The picture was taken in the mid-1980s and the only information on the back says the amount being handed over to the League was an 
impressive£1,520.

If you can tell us more – who the Scout Group were and any of the names of the people on the picture, then please get in touch. We think the man on the right is former League of Friends stalwart Geoff Bonsall.
