Ozbox marathon success
A 24-hour ‘OzBoxathon’ held to raise money for a seriously ill little girl made £5,000 for the fund.
The event, held at Heanor Gate Science College last month, raised the money for the Saving Abbey Fund.
Abbey is a two-year-old girl from Ilkeston who is suffering from a brain tumour. The money will be used to buy essential equipment to help Abbey and children with similar conditions. Pupils and staff at Heanor Gate Science College when they heard about Abbey’s plight.
