Buxton is preparing to be invaded by tens of thousands of Gilbert and Sullivan fans this summer as the town once again plays host to the International festival celebrating the musical duo.
Now in its 15th year, the festival is the biggest event of its kind in the world with performers coming from countries as far away as Japan and America.

During the festival's three-week run in August there will be 27 shows of the productions at the town's Opera House.The event will run from August 3 to August 23. Tickets are available by calling 01298 72190.
