London band The Daves will perform at The Monkey Run, Nottingham Road, Ripley, on May 4.
The Daves perform 'raw, honest indie/rock' and their debut single, Not In England hits the UK on May 19.

The band consists of singer Jim, guitarist Peter and brothers Johnny (bass) and Dave (drums), all East London lads born within the sound of the ref's whistle at Upton Park.

Pure British talent gagging to be unleashed to the UK audience, The Daves represent all the working class heroes in this country - these boys understand what it's like to live on the sharp end of life and their music promises to touch and ignite a passion in every true Brit out there.

The band's real break came when they met Aziz Ibrahim (ex Stone Roses guitarist) who was so impressed by their raw talent that he invited them to play Glastonbury 2005, where they left a Friday night crowd awe struck with their performance.
