Walking boots at the ready

It is time for walkers to brush off their sturdy boots and waterproofs as the Amber Valley and Erewash Walking Festival draws nearer.
The annual festival takes ramblers on 34 free guided walks between Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 28.

Walkers will be guided by 20 experienced leaders, beginning at 10am on the first Saturday at Shipley Country Park Visitors Centre.
