Madam,
Lorraine Kelly Lights Up Christmas
Following the much talked about dreary summer, the festive season definitely gives us something to look forward to.
As a supporter of The Children's Society, I am inviting readers in Derbyshire to attend their local Christingle celebration.
Every year thousands of people start the season with their family and friends at a Christingle celebration in aid of The Children's Society.
The Children's Society's Good Childhood Inquiry recently found that family relationships are under strain as parents struggle to spend more time with their children because of the demands of work.
Christingle services are an excellent opportunity for family and friends to come together while raising money to safeguard and protect childhood.
Anyone can attend so please show your support by finding out where your local Christingle service is and share in this uplifting experience with your family and neighbours during the Christmas season.
Visit www.christingle.org or call 0845 600 8585.
Lorraine Kelly
The Children's Society Supporter
