Big band to swing in support of scouts
A big band is to swing in support of a Belper Scout group.
The Henley Farrell Big Band is putting on a show at Belper Community Theatre on March 9 to raise cash for the 1st Alton Manor Scout Group.
The musicians, who havebeen performing live music across the East Midlands since 1991, will be making their way through the alphabet for the performance as part of the band’s latest project ‘An A to Z of Big Band Swing’.
The show will feature music from the likes of Count Basie, Les Brown, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and many more stars of the Big Band world.
Refreshments will be available supplied by the 1st Alton Manor Scouts.
Tickets for the performance are priced at £10 on the door and in advance.
