Atlantics ready to make a splash
Renowned rock and roll band The Atlantics are appearing at the village hall at Heage on Friday, February 3, for one night only.
Get on your blue suede shoes because The Atlantics are bringing their rock ‘n’ roll party to your local venue for a night full of retro glamour.
Rock Around The Clock, Great Balls of Fire, Blue Suede Shoes, Be Bop a Lula, the hits just keep on coming, and are mixed in with the band’s own original tracks.
With guitar, double bass, sax, piano, drums and four vocalists, The Atlantics create a fabulously authentic 1950s sound, a terrific atmosphere and a big beat vibe that keeps people dancing all night. You won’t be able to sit still for long.
The Atlantics are Shorty Long on the stand up bass/vocals; Mr Miggs on guitar/vocals; Ruby Darnell on the sax/vocals; Johnny Ace on the drums (at 17 years old, he is one of the youngest drummers on the scene) and Boogie Bill completes the line up on the piano/vocals with his pounding rhythm and piano hooks, giving The Atlantics that big sound and original 50s vibe.
