The Flowerpot in Derby will play host to a gig by Green Day tribute act Green Date on Saturday, January 19.

The band, featuring Joe Sunday as Billie Joe Armstrong, Geeboy as Mike Dirnt and Not So Cool as Tre Cool, will delve into the illustrious back catalogue of the big-selling American trio, covering all aspects of their career, including hits like American Idiot, Basket Case and Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life).

On Wednesday, January 23, Barry Barnes from Sinnerboy will be the guest performer at the latest Acoustic Wednesday session, free of charge in the bar.

Doors open at 8pm and admission is £8 to see Green Date.
