Star pianist Lara to give recital
THE Sunday Morning Piano Series at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall continues on Sunday, February 26, with a performance by Lara Melda.
A performer whose sensitive and inspired playing left one of the judges in tears on her way to winning the BBC Young Musician Competition in 2010, Lara Melda’s Nottingham recital will see her tackling some challenging works.
These include Beethoven’s Sonata No 17, Debussy’s Reflets Dans L’Eau and Minstrels, and Chopin’s moving 1st Ballade, providing an unforgettable finale.
