Star soloist to play in Derby

THE European Union Chamber Orchestra will be the visitors to Derby’s Assembly Rooms on Thursday, April 12, at 7.30pm.

Directed by Jerome Akoka, the concert features Handel’s Water Music Suite, Haydn’s Cello Concerto No 1 in C – with star soloist Julian Lloyd Webber – Mozart’s Symphony No 29 and the Two Aquarelles by Frederick Delius, originally for choir but arranged for strings by his musical assistant Eric Fenby.
