The award-winning women’s four-part harmony chorus DaleDiva has launched its third CD – Sing It! Ring It! Bling It!

The CD features 14 of DaleDiva’s most popular songs including The Climb, Rolling In The Deep, To Make You Feel My Love and Valerie – plus an Enough Is Enough bonus backing track and words to which potential divas can sing along.

Musical director of the Cromford-based group, Ally Law, 43, said: “We worked really hard to produce something we could all be proud of and I’m delighted with the result.

“It’s a great achievement for us record our third CD after only singing together for five years and I think it’s clear how we’ve developed and grown over that time.

“I’m sure this album will make a great gift as it features all of our most popular songs which have become firm favourites with our audiences over the last few months and there’s something for everyone.

“I hope people enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it – and even better, enjoy the bonus track and have a go at singing along with us!”

DaleDiva, made up of 70 women aged 26 to 70 from all over the county, has performed at shows and events all over Derbyshire as well as achieving national and international success on the competition stage.

The chorus also won Channel Five talent show Don’t Stop Believing in 2010, scooping the most public votes in a live heat and final.

Definitely Diva was recorded at Highfields School in Matlock over a weekend in October by Ripley-based Meadow Farm Studio Mobile Unit. It was produced by Ally Law, sound engineers Stewart Field and Jonathan Cundey and DaleDiva assistant musical director Harriet Adamson.
