Horsley Primary School pupils past and present came together to celebrate the school's 180th anniversary with a garden party.
Around 200 people attended the party at the Church Street school, on Thursday, June 26.

Pupils had made a collection of old log books and photographs for their predecessors – one of which was a 92-year- old.

The whole school got involved with the day, with some ofthem performing a country dance for visitors.

Headteacher Paul Leeson said: "It was important that the children got involved, they've got a good insight into the history of the school now.

"It all went very well, even though tea and cakes had to be taken inside because the weather was a bit grotty."
