A Belper garage cleaned up for charity this weekend.
The Lion Garage, on Bridge Street, hosted a charity car wash to raise money for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

The event, which raised £212.52, was held by Derby-based company EMQC Ltd, a business development agency which raises money for a charity each year.

Client support manager Edwina Holmes said: "We chose the air ambulance as it is such a good cause, and, as it does not get its own funding , it is worth raising money for."

The company is also looking to hold stalls, a summer quiz, and a sponsored abseil to raise money for the charity.
