Nine schools in and around Belper have joined together to launch a new website.
The Connect Belper site provides information about accessing local and national services which may be of help to students, parents and carers of children at the town's schools.

Information includes parenting support, education, and advice on issues such as bullying and eating disorders.

The Government-funded website, which connects Belper School, Pottery Primary School and Herbert Strutt Primary School, among others, was launched on Friday.

Extended Services co-ordinator Marylin Deakin said: "We thought the website was the way forward as it gets all the information together and it can be used by all of the schools."

Each of the centres involved will have a hard copy of the information on the website.
