A dilapidated house has been labelled an eyesore by a town councillor.
The exterior of number one High Street has been criticised by Belper Town Council, which says something needs to be done about it.

Town council leader John Nelson said: "The town centre heritage scheme spent a lot of money on the area around the Market Place and that house just looks like an eyesore.

"It's damaging the face of the town and it's our town. People work on it to make it look right."

Cllr Nelson has appealed for 'whatever possible' to be done to the building.
