DRAMA workshops at The Fleet held over the Easter holidays saw children aged between six and 12 performing Oscar Wilde plays.
Two groups performed The Happy Prince and The Devoted Friend and incorporated dance and instruments into the plays. Helen Robinson, director of Learning Through Drama, who co-ordinates the workshops said: "It was up to the children to devise their own ideas and drama.

“The children used modern day ideas such as basing the plays on top of Derby Cathedral in 2007.”

Helen said: "There is strong educational element and it encourages them to think creatively."
