Children from Crich Carr Primary School hit the right note when they won a prestigious competition.
Crich Carr Harmony Group from the Whatstandwell primary school beat 21 choirs from all parts of Derbyshire and won over the judges at Bolsover District Council.

The competition is in it's eighth year. The group, coached by Gwenna Carless and Kathryn Mason, sing in three part harmony which is very unusual for a primary school choir.

Started 10 years ago, the choir now consists of 18 children between the ages of seven and 11.
