A Duffield farm shop has beat the recession to celebrate its first birthday.
Croots, at Farnah House Farm, held a party day with face painting, beer sampling, and demonstrations to mark the occasion.
There was also a barbecue and a competition to win £50 in vouchers.
The shop has been a surprise hit since it opened its doors at the start of the recession last year.
Owner Steve Croot said: "Our first year has been absolutely brilliant and exceeded all expectations.
"We can't thank our customers enough for the support that they've given us during our first 12 months."
