This year's food festival is set to be better than ever, with more stalls and a better selection of food, say organisers.
More than 40 stalls have signed up to the event, including local traders as well as organic food and drink suppliers.
A climbing wall and local performers have also been booked to entertain the crowds on the day.
The event, which is run by Bel
per Town Council, will take over the town centre on Sunday, July 5.
It is the third year the festival has run in the town. A real ale festival has also been planned for pubs on the Market Place.
Council leader Cllr John Nelson said: "It will do a great job of promoting the local area. It's very involved in promoting organic foods and show people what they can buy from shops in the area."
Organisers have got their fingers crossed for good weather at the weekend, after previous festivals were blighted with downpours.
Belper town councillor Peter Arnold said: "In both previous years there has been really bad weather, but people have still come despite that. We're hoping if we have a good day the numbers could really increase. It will give people from outside the town the opportunity to see what we have got in Belper."
The festival will run on King Street, Strutt Street, and Green Lane from 10am until 6pm.
The Cross Keys, Black Swan and White Swan pubs on the Market Place will also have entertainment and food for the afternoon.
Belper band TFX will be playing at The White Swan, and The Black Swan will be holding a hog roast.
Parking restrictions will be in place on Church Lane between 10am and 4pm, and the Green Lane car park will be closed for the day.
Free parking will be available in the Coppice car park and the Derwent Street car park.
A food-themed heritage walk has also been planned for 2pm on the same day.
The walk, which will start out at Belper Market Place, will teach people about food facts from workhouse rations to Thornton's toffee. It will cost £3 for adults and £2 for concessions.
