Belper Art Group's annual exhibition and competition evening was open to members of other art groups in the area from Alfreton, Duffield, Allestree, Heage, Clay Cross and Smalley.
The competition theme this year was Hot Spot, and the winner of the Gerald Crane rose bowl was Ken Spencer, who was presented with the trophy by Doreen Andrews.

There was a large exhibition of work in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolour submitted by members of Belper Art Group for display on the night, and members of the visiting groups voted for the best in each category.

Belper Art Group meets at The Fleet Art Centre on The Fleet at Belper every Thursday at 7pm. New members are always welcome.
