Police searched for missing man in Belper

Belper Parks was swarming with police yesterday as officers searched for a missing man.
A police van and several cars full of officers sped to the scene at around 2.15pm on Wednesday, July 21, after the force received a call from the man's family saying they were concerned for his safety.

Dog units and the police helicopter were also used to search for the man, who is in his thirties. He was found in a wooded area of the Parks.

The man had fallen ill and was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital for treatment.
