Thief makes off on bike in Heage

A MAN dressed in a black raincoat, green army trousers and heavy boots stole money from a shop in Heage before making off on a push bike.
The incident happened between 4.45pm and 5pm on Tuesday June 30 at the Fourways Store on Park Road.

The man entered the shop, reached over the counter and grabbed cash before making his escape.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw the man, who despite the hot weather, was wearing a black raincoat with the hood up, green army trouser, black army boots, a dark peaked cap and blue rucksack. He was also wearing sunglasses and had a goaty beard.
