A MUCH-loved teacher at a school in Belper has retired after more than two decades of service.
Pottery Primary School, on Kilbourne Road, waved goodbye to Anne Saunders last week.
She had spent 21 years as an infant teacher at the school.
Also at the school last week, trophies were presented to children from years four and five.
The trophies were to recognise their achievement in completing homework for the previous five years.
Children across the school are awarded medals for completing homework.
It’s bronze for one year, silver for two years, gold for three, and platinum for four.
