Police are appealing for information after a large amount of meat was stolen from a Little Eaton supermarket.

On Tuesday December 30 at 7.10pm, a man and woman entered the Co-op on Alfreton Road. The man was allegedly seen to place a large amount of steak inside his coat on a number of occasions and then walked out of the store without paying.

Officers investigating have released a CCTV image of a man and a woman they would like to speak to.

Anyone who has information or who recognises the people in the image is asked to contact PC Russell Crooks at Ilkeston police station using the non-emergency 101 number.
