elderly people in Belper have been going back to school.
For staff and students at Belper School spend Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes entertaining visitors to a school lunch club.
Members, who are aged over 60, pay £2.75 for a main meal and a pudding and have it served to them by a rota of year seven students.
They sit in the main dining hall and socialise after they have eaten.
The scheme is organise by Jeannette Gascoyne. If you want to become a member of the club and enjoy a school lunch, ring the school, which is on John O’Gaunts Way, on 01773 825281 and ask for Jeannette.
