The Met Office is forecasting a bright, chilly start for Derbyshire and the East Midlands today, Monday March 30, with rain arriving this afternoon.
Any isolated showers will quickly die out first thing but cloud will increase towards midday with outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain arriving by mid-afternoon. It will turn milder as winds strengthen later and the maximum temperature will be 11 degrees centigrade.
Tonight it will be windy with outbreaks of heavy, showery rain. Mild at first, it will turn colder later with occasional showers and then clear spells developing later. The minimum temperature will be four degrees centigrade.
