Bridge Street pub to be sold at auction

A Belper pub is set to go under the hammer this week.

The Lord Nelson, on Bridge Street, has a guide price of £100,000.

The period end of terrace building is described as being a public house on the ground floor with two principal bar/lounge areas together with male and female toilets and external store.

The upstairs residential accommodation has three bedrooms and there is an enclosed yard and beer garden to the rear.

The freehold will be sold to the highest bidder during a sale at Le Meridien, Piccadilly, London on March 7.

Those interested can also submit a bid on the Eddisons website.

The winning bidder is expected to complete the contract within a few weeks of the auction.
