A couple have started-up a new business offering people the chance to get involved in some traditional crafts.
Sarah and Richard Ward launched Crafts Cornucopia on King Street to give people the opportunity to have a go at knitting, hand sewing, crochet, using a sewing machine, patchwork, icing cakes, cross stitch and other activities.
Half day or day workshops are also being staged to help people learn new techniques as well as private parties, group sessions, personal tuition and ‘have a go’ sessions for children.
People had the chance to find out about the new shop during an open day on Sunday, May 5.
Various craft courses were run throughout the day along with drink and cakes.
There will also be a coffee and cake side to the business.
