Homes builder searches for plots

A Mansfield-based house builder has announced it is searching for land for a development in Belper.

Rippon Homes is seeking locations for its “family-friendly, high quality homes” around the town, after creating a number of developments in Derbyshire over the last 30 years.

Land Negotiator, Paula Fisher, said: “The fact we are looking to build homes in new areas demonstrates our confidence in the property market and the year ahead, we see a positive future and believe there is a real need for our spacious, modern and family-friendly homes in Derbyshire.

“We’re very well-known for our Mansfield developments, but are currently looking for suitable land close to the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire border, in particular the Ripley and Belper areas.

“We usually look at land that can accommodate 10 to 60 plots, but we would consider any size, as some of our biggest successes have been our most intimate developments.”
