Pub helps farmers in times of hardship

A pub is hosting a beer tasting evening to raise funds for farmers who are going through hard times.

The Bulls head pub on Belper Lane, Belper is teaming up with Shottle Brewery to stage the event on Thursday, January 31.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution within Derbyshire – which supports the farming community during times of need, hardship and distress.

Tickets cost £5, which includes supper and beer samples. A raffle and games will also be running during the evening to help boost fundraising.

To book your place contact Margaret Baile by phoning 07747 337004. For more information on the work of RABI visit www.rabi.org.uk
