air cadets have been getting to grips with the outdoors on their annual adventure trip.
The youngsters from the 140 (Matlock) Squadron Cadets visited Snowdonia National Park.
Flight Lieutenant Sarah Pagliano, squadron commanding officer, said: “They always have a great time being taking on challenges that they don’t have chance to do at home or school.”
The cadets, aged between 13 and 18 years old took part in orienteering, climbing, team building and leadership tasks.
13-year-old cadet George Peck, who has only been with the squadron a few months, said: “I’d heard what great stuff air cadets get to do, but never expected to have so much fun this quickly.”
