Choc shop turns outlet

A BELPER chocolate shop is to be converted into a ‘factory outlet’ next week.

The store on King Street will be given a new-look to accompany the price-cutting make-over which will see discounts of up to 50 per cent on many chocolate collections, as well as bundle deals and special offers.

Geoff Kershaw, Thorntons Retail Trading Director, said: “Thorntons is introducing its factory outlet concept to some high streets across Britain, to support the business strategy of reshaping the retail estate. Following a successful trial in Scotland last month, further factory outlets are now being rolled out, with Belper being one of the stores to be converted into an outlet.”
