Belper’s Cottage Project held an Open Day over the Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate two decades of operating.

For 20 years the group, which is run entirely by volunteers, has provided vital facilities for charitable organisations.

It is a non-profit organisation and plays a major part in helping the community in many ways.

Local Musicians and Businessmen Gary Page and Michael Johnston, otherwise known as ” Dippin’ da Bristle” wanted to help raise awareness by playing some of their unique brand of Skiffabilly music - on the roof!

Gary said: “It certainly turned some heads and it was a pleasure to support such a worthy cause.”
