YOUNGSTERS at a Denby playgroup have taken part in their annual toddle-waddle to raise funds for Meningitis UK. The fun run took place at Alphabet Childminding Group in Denby. Childminder Zoe Bennett said: “It’s basically a charity fun-run for the under fives. The children did one lap of the field. This is our fifth year running of holding the toddle-waddle. About 20 children took part. We are counting the money up this week and should have a total by Thursday.”

Yesterday the three main UK meningitis charities, Meningitis Research Foundation, Meningitis Trust and Meningitis UK, joined together to mark a world day of action.
