Diamond couple, Kenneth and Doris Ruston, are still dancing - 60 years after tying the knot.
The pair, who met at the former Assembly Rooms on Derwent Street, held a celebration to mark their time together at Belper Sports Centre this week.
Former Brettles and Blounts worker Doris, 80, has been unable to hit the dancefloor as much as she would like after developing eye problems.
However, the couple were still able to strut their stuff - with a waltz in front of 80 people at the party.
Doris and former lorry driver Ken, 82, were keen ballroom dancers until 2006.
Ken said the secret to a happy marriage was “hard work”.
