COMMunity leaders tucked into a feast in celebration of Fairtrade Fortnight.
The Greenway Cafe, in Snitterton Road, Matlock, hosted the feast to mark the end of the two weeks of promoting all things Fairtrade.
Councillors from Matlock and Darley Dale town councils, as well as Derbyshire Dales District Council and Derbyshire County Council, enjoyed the vegetarian feast, made with ingredients that had been provided by the Matlock and Darley Dale Fairtrade groups.
Barbara Daniels from the Matlock Fairtrade group said: “It was wonderful to have the time to talk to some of our council representatives informally, especially as they were so interested in Fairtrade.”
They were asked to support Fairtrade towns including Matlock, Darley Dale, Wirksworth, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Chesterfield, as well as encourage further steps to support the Fairtrade movement in their area.
