Bunches of flowers left in public places brightened up the lives of residents in Belper.

Ruth Keeley, owner of Natural Favours in Mileford, dropped off the lonely bouquets and then posted clues on social media to help people find them.

The generous act was part of British Flowers Week which drew to a close on Sunday, and aimed to highlight the benefits of plants grown in this country, such as eco-friendly growing and food for bees and butterflies.
