An interesting programme of events has been drawn up to mark the start of a new season at Strutt’s North Mill in Belper.
There will be plenty of things for people interested in local history and also family activities at the mill museum and visitor centre.
From Wednesday, April 20, until Monday, May 2, there will be a free exhibition entitled ‘The Strutts and Innovation’, along with several associated events at Strutts community centre on Derby Road, Belper.
Throughout the spring and summer there will be local history walks on Sundays, open days, craft workshops, seasonal events such as a chocolate mouse hunt and story-telling session before Easter, said a spokesman.
To find out more go to www.struttsnorthmill.org.uk for updates or pick up a programme from the mill museum, which is open Wednesdays to Sundays, 1pm until 5pm, or call the mill 01773 880474.
