A pharmacy offered the services of its own vet to animal lovers in Belper on Saturday.

Manor Pharmacy on King Street had veterinarian John Rosie on hand to provide free help while staff also raised money for the RSPCA with a quiz trail around Belper shops for children.

Staff run a stall at Crufts every year and the store is one of a handful of businesses in the region that sells pet medicines – after changes in the law meant they could sell the products at lower prices than veterinary surgeries.
