The organisers of a local history project have issued an appeal for residents, past and present, to join them for a reunion.
Elaine Sarson told the Advertiser: “Have you ever lived in Mapperley?
“Did you attend Mapperley School during the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s 80s or 90s?
“Want to meet up with old friends?
“We want to celebrate our pub being saved from closure by Dave and Gail and to bring people together from years past.
“I have had requests via my website for this so we decided to get something organised.”
The reunion will take place on Saturday April 5 at the Old Black Horse pub in Mapperley village.
Entry is by ticket available from Elaine Sarson on 07557 194557 or email email@example.com.
