Police investigating the death of Daniel Baker in South Normanton on Friday July 19 have appealed to the public for help to find the weapon that was used to kill him.
Detectives believe the weapon is a carving-type knife and have asked local residents and dog walkers to check their gardens, hedgerows and paths.
Anyone who finds a knife of that description should contact the police on 101.
Leon Lockhart, 31, and Michaela Griffiths, 24, from South Normanton, were yesterday charged with murdering the 32-year-old.
They will appear before North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, July 23).
