Inquest opens into case of Hulland Ward fire death children

THE inquest into the deaths of four siblings killed in a house fire in Hulland Ward was underway today.

The hearing in Derby was due to take two days to complete.

Derby and South Derbyshire Coroner’s Court heard the fire that killed the four youngsters, Tommy Everton, nine, Alisha Henson-Nulty, six, Rocco Henson-Nulty, four, and Appolonia Henson, two, was caused by a spark or ember from an open fireplace in the lounge of the house on Highfield Road in the village.
