Belper Players are offering a unique way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with their next production.
For one of their performances of Dancing In Lughnasa falls on Thursday, March 17 – St Patricks’ Day.
Written by Brian Friel, the play is set in rural Ireland.
Director Jane Wilton said: “It’s intriguing, historical and has music and dancing. There’s something for everyone. It’s an energetic, poignant insight into family life in 1930s Ireland.”
It will be at The Strutts Centre, Derby Road, from Tuesday, March 15, to Friday, March 18, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Joyce Towle on 01335 370827. They cost £6, or £5 concessions for the Tuesday performance only.
