A 21-YEAR-old Belper man has raised more than £1,000 for a cancer charity after walking the length of the UK on his own.

Josh Jones slept in an abandoned cottage, under the stars by the famous Loch Ness, and on the sofas of various strangers as he made his way from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Intrepid Josh, of Long Row, started his 1,100-mile adventure in June and took 91 days to complete it – walking on average between 15 and 22 miles per day.
