A SOLICITOR has helped raise over £700 for charity by putting his knowledge of the law into action.

Nigel Davis of Turnditch wrote wills for clients as part of the November 2011’s Will Aid campaign.

Clients were offered a basic will and asked to make a donation instead of paying the firm’s usual fees.

The money raised is shared by Actionaid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF, Sightsavers and Trocaire.

The firm has participated in Will Aid for three years, but this year hard-working staff have certainly raised more than they expected.

The funds raised are being put to work by the Will Aid charities to make a real and immediate difference to the lives of the people in need in the UK and all over the world.

Vito Berzanskis, associate solicitor at Nigel Davis Solicitors, commented on the success of the campaign: “It is a win-win situation for everyone involved. It is so good to help out in this way.”
