LETTER: No sympathy for bikers

I've read the letters regarding the above.

Do the bikers think they will be missed by everyone? I don’t think so.
The Mothers’ Day protest was not only selfish, but dangerous, and I for one felt intimidated by the antics of the bikers.

People were sat in their cars trying to take their mums out for lunch but were going nowhere, because of their ‘protest’. Buses were running very late, because of their ‘protest.’

I applaud the council for setting these charges which at 50p is extremely cheap for two hours which is longer than they are supposed to stay for free.

Councils across the country are feeling the pinch, and Derbyshire Dales has increased the council tax to pay for frontline services. As for the comment ‘another Derbyshire town’ come forward and offer free parking, if they do can we have free parking too?
