Accident shuts section of A38

THE A38 was closed at Little Eaton this morning due to an accident.

The northbound side of the dual carriageway was closed from the roundabout at Little Eaton to the Morley Lane junction, because of the accident and debris on the road. Diversions were in operation - via the B6179 Alfreton Road to Ripley.

Bus services were also diverted.
